Oooh! Oooh! Ooooh! Daleks! DALEKS! I had a friend once who wanted to hug them, you know. Female, as well. Strange girl.

Anyway, as if you didn’t know, Doctor Who tonight (repeated Sunday BBC THREE 7pm) featured the return of the CUNTING SILURIANS - and one of our favourite VFX people, Mike Tucker, was in charge of building it - and operating the head on set via remote. Hence his appearance tonight on Doctor Who Confidential… wearing a BBC VFX jacket.

If you didn’t catch Confidential, you can catch it straight after the repeat of Who; or you can also watch it online. It’s well worth you catching it, as it won’t be on the DVD. Speaking of which, the Boxset is released on the 21st November; don’t bother with the individual releases, as they’re extraless. We know the boxset will have loads of nice extras, but not what they are yet - but I’d be surprised if we didn’t see something about the BBC Model Unit’s work…
