Remember the news about the Dwarf film cells? Well, Play now have their exclusive set listed (Argos will have another exclusive, and various others will be available elsewhere) - and the stated release date is, erm, today. Or: “Out now. Waiting for delivery of stock.” Hmmm. I’ll believe it when they’ve got some. And when there’s a proper photo. Oh. But I’m looking forward to these anyway, even if no-one else is - I have a love for production photos that I don’t think many people share.
Meanwhile, one thing I didn’t mention in my Newsround is that this TOS article has been updated with the latest news on the mobile stuff:
“This release has now been confirmed for November, with cover art to follow shortly. Moving away from the episodes suggested above, Doug Naylor has opted for shows that rely less on the visuals and more on dialogue-based comedy. The chosen shows are now Marooned, Quarantine and Cassandra.”
All of which seems eminently sensible. Everything is, apart from the actual idea of viewing eps on your tiny phone screen using a chip you actually have to buy, when you’ve already bought the eps once to view on your nice big telly screen. Just listen to Son of Cliché instead.
Oh, and SciFiCollector are selling the VII DVD with Chris Barrie’s signature for £22.95. I was going to do some joke about him tossing off into the case, but is it really worth it? Answers below, please.
UPDATE (2/9/05 @ 21:21): Play now now gives the release date of their film cells as being Saturday 10th September. THE LYING CUNTS. We’ll have a review as soon as we have them.
