“Can't anyone from the OD/G&T crowd actually write a single paragraph on those sites without mentioning a single offensive profanity?!” - Liam, Official Webboard

John's Newsround - Late/Sorry/05

Sorry this is, erm, “late”. Me and Ian QUITE LITERALLY spent the weekend shagging our respective partners. Yes, we have sex! Aren’t we great? Then we needed three days to recover, of course.

Sadly, I should have told Tanya to FUCK OFF AND TAKE HER LEAKY VAG WITH HER, and rushed off to do this Newsround, as it’s a bloody brilliant update from TOS. The main one being the launch of the webcomic. Ian will have a review of it on Friday when the last page is published, but here’s my mini-review: I LOVE IT. (And I’ve read it, too.)

In DVD Details news, we also have a rundown of the VII deleted scenes. Having seen them already because I’m great (I mean, sex and watching VII early - can you get more cool?), I will say just one thing: the fact that the running joke from Holly was cut in Nanarchy is a CRIME. It’s without doubt funnier than anything in the finished episode.

Lastly from TOS, there’s a reminder about Memorabilia (26th-27th of November @ the Birmingham NEC, people) - and news that you’ll be able to buy the Dwarf headknockers and Flibble glove puppets there! So, that’s me going, then. Official release of both items will be the start of December - nicely in time for Christmas.

But the main thing in the article is… Memorabilia ads from Danny and Robert! And here was me thinking that Coldseal Windows had the best ever radio ads. (Or Coca Cola.) Listening to them is just… just… weird. In a good way. And Smeg Ups! GNP, with these MP3s you are really spoiling us. AlthoughhearingDannyspeaklikehe’sreadingoutinsurancesmallprintisworrying.

A couple of other bits of news. There’s been another BBFC classification - and it’s Back In The Red Xtended, running at 82 minutes exactly. The seperate three parts of BITR come to 84 mins 59 secs - but then, you have to remember that two sets of opening titles and overly-long recaps are being removed, leaving time for the small deleted scene additions. I am really rather looking forward to this.

And really finally - the BBC’s Dwarf site has “updated”. Why not follow the link on there for yourself and SPOT THE DELIBERATE MISTAKE.
