Well of course not, that would involve them going to *shudder* Scotland!
Nor does, erm, London. It does seem to be largely East Midlands-based.
It’s easy to say TV used to be better. In some respects, it’s true - and in some respects it isn’t.
But the loss of ITV’s regionality is one genuine, unarguable tragedy of TV in recent years. I feel zero connection to ITV as a channel now - wheras Central used to be by far my favourite channel, which I felt a real loyalty to.
It stinks.
