Our fifth anniversary! Well, actually it was on April 4th. And that was only one of the relaunches of the site anyway, not its first incarnation - the launch date of which is long lost in the mists of time. (There are some numbers next to it… but they could be anything.) But we couldn’t bear to let this moment go completely, even though it’s WRONG and we’re LATE.
We’ve got a little article planned soon, which does a bit of the old reminiscing thing - but for now, as pathetic and as cliched as it is, we’d like to thank you lot for sticking around. You really are what makes the site worth doing. We love you all. Even performingmonkey.

I’ve dipped in and out of the site for some time now, but it wasn’t until last year I decided to register on the forum. Ours lives were inexplicably changed forever. Or something.

Nah, you see those bags on the 2003 picture, they bought the embryos in an attempt to grow new people to take on the heavy work that was required. They planned ahead really well!!

Happy kind-of somewhat anniversary thing to you too!
For what it’s worth—which may be nothing, I admit—this is probably the longest I’ve ever *actively* stuck with a specific online community. There have been certain forums and groups I’ve visited almost as long as I’ve had internet access, but for better or worse, this is the only one I’ve consistently posted to, and the reason for that is the great group of people who keep the news items and discussions interesting.
(I’m disregarding Ian here for obvious reasons.)
