ChuckleVision! 6 New Episodes! Not Repeats! Resurrected!

Did they ever go away? They’ve had continual new series for 20-odd years haven’t they?

I thought they’d only made one episode and just kept on repeating that.

I clicked that link in the good faith it would somehow reference Barry Chuckle being dead. :(

When I found out that RTD had written a couple of episodes in the early nineties, I felt quite faint.

six new episodes for the new series, Series 21. And, it’s better than ever.

Surely this is a reboot and should be either be Series 1 or 2010. :)

There was no series last year! Actually…if we’re gonna be wanky about it (come on, this is G&T after all), it was on the CBBC channel from 11th December last year but on terrestrial (now there’s a word that feels defunct) in 2010. There was a different episode this series where they had two boys playing the Chuckles at 11-years-old in flashback! It had a longer break between series’ it seems. They haven’t been slacking(…).

Btw there WILL be a series 22!! They only do 6x15 minute eps these days but, still, they’ve got to be written and produced, and even these later ones seem pretty decent to me whenever I catch them (in a fit of ‘oh there’s eff-all on let’s switch to the CBBC channel’).

Last time I caught Chucklevision I had to turn over because of the film effect.

It was horrible. Not because of my usual dislike of it - it was so badly done it actually hurt my eyes to watch it.
