What a massive cunt.
Also, Iain Lee. :P
…that wasn’t predictable. It wasn’t.
You may notice that I *wasn’t* on Bit on the Side last night…. Just a coincidence though. We’ve actually worked together before, a few months prior to the initial incident. I imagine we’d laugh it off after some initial awkwardness.
> I imagine we’d laugh it off after some initial awkwardness.
I like how you’ve rehearsed this in your head already.
It wouldn’t make Iain less of a cunt, it’d just make Ian more of a cunt by association. ;)
I don’t think Iain Lee is one, I don’t even think Norman is one. One appears a very insecure man, the other a bitter one.
> I don’t think Iain Lee is one
Srsly? Okay he did that gaming show years ago…cripes I nearly said ‘Bits’ then!! How could that colossal trout basket have featured in something as jaw-droppingly sensational (I fancied them all) as THIS!
SRLSY. I’m not saying he hasn’t been cunt-worthy, I just tend to get bored and switch off when people start acting up.
I’ve spoken to Iain a couple of times, he can come across as a cunt on TV and/or radio because that’s his ‘character’ if you like. It’s the personality he seems to default to, but in real life he’s a perfectly nice chap.
For me, his love of The Monkees sort of cancels out his hatred of Dwarf.

Sorry, but to me, viciously verbally attacking a number of people who did NOT call him a cunt after he searched for “Iain Lee Cunt” does not equal a perfectly nice chap.
I’m sure he didn’t like being called a cunt, but then what did he expect to find using those search terms? Yes, he’s a very insecure person, as proved by his replying to tweets that contain his name but aren’t @ replied to him, but it’s his own fucking fault for looking in the first place.

Well i don’t know the history there, and reading this, probably shouldn’t ask :)
As for 4Later, ‘Bits’ was definitely one of those programmes that ‘assisted’ in my coming of age :)
He did a great interview with They Might Be Giants on his podcast… but at the same time he slagged off Crowded House.
So confused.
>He makes his own problems…
League of Gentlemen, or wishful thinking?
He’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy!
No one will get MY reference…
I wouldn’t mind, but the quote I did isn’t even FROM the show, it’s from the documentary that the sketch is based on. Which is more fooking bizarre.
He did say it in the show too, though, didn’t he? After the little boy was eliminated from the competition?

Ha! You’re right, yes he does. I assumed it would have been in the office with the lady wanting her prescription.
The documentary was well used.
Just sat down to watch a program about VOX amps, only to find the bloody thing is hosted by Iain Lee. Damn.

Luckily not even he could spoil one of the most beautiful bits of kit ever produced by human hand….
Can someone tell me the Iain Lee: A Cunt Odyssey story?
‘Cos I’ve always heard slight references to it on here but never quite got it?
>Iain Lee: A Cunt Odyssey
This is where it all started - http://www.ganymede.tv/forum/2008/03/iain-lee-is-a-fucking-cunt

Maybe, but he was still bloody annoying on the program. For someone who claims it’s a passion of his at the start he is startlingly uniformed. Even his banal comments like ‘of course, all guitars sound better with distortion’ started to annoy me after a while. It’s like the kind of crap you hear in a music shop on a Saturday afternoon when you get all the teenagers hanging around.
When Iain Lee hosted Thumb Bandits back in, I don’t know, 2001, he referred to Worms Blast - a 2D Bust-a-Move clone with 3D-rendered characters - as “Worms, in 3D at last!”
My hate for Iain predates all of yours, probably.

Just watching “Bit On The Side”……Okay, Amanda is, but I was in the room trying to sleep…and Iain Lee is on.
Has Ian introduced himself to Iain yet as….”Hi. Ian from Ganymede & Titan”
