What!! I can’t edit that first post!! Now I just look like an idiot…
Well, okay! More of an idiot than normal!
What amazed me was how many people apparently believed Glitter was due ‘a second chance’ (something incidentally, that his victims will always be denied).
Arrested for possession of child porn and sex with a minor in England, then kicked out of the country for suspicion of child molesting in Cambodia, then convicted on two counts in Vietnam. A *second* chance?
Hmm, I question the way that piece vilifies anyone that made a joke about Glitter over this was ignoring the “hideous crimes that Mr Glitter committed” and that as such they were “exempt from basic human morality.” That is frankly ridiculous.

In my opinion, any known paedophiles on the internet should have as much publicity as we can give them. Provided it is in a negative light. The more who are made aware of where they are and what they are doing, the better…
As for the jokes. @MrsStephenFry’s posting was actually funny… @FrankieBoyles was offensive…Not so much because of the poor taste,but because it was predictably shit and unfunny. But that’s just Frankie Boyle for you!
I also see no problem with Joey Barton’s reaction.
And Piers Morgan is just a cunt. More so than Iain Lee!!
Looks like it’s been taken down…but the account was a fake which he claims was done to highlight a problem with children on social network sites…However, his theory and assumptions were a bit illogical in my opinion…..not that I’m a pedo expert or owt!

At the end of the day, the parents need to do more to supervise their child’s use of the internet.
There is….but it is a children’s album and it can only be heard at private performances. I don’t know….these artistes and their funny ways!

I saw a tweet aimed at Gary Glitter from Serafinowicz the other day…..in fact, Seb posted it to his Facebook wall. He was asking if his book would be available made available as a PDF file.
The Glitter account was false and was actually done for a reason…. Interesting….but I was more interested in the gags to be honest than the whole morality issue. Still, well done. http://glitterontwitter.tumblr.com/
